Oz Matilda Bear Co. take pride in their efficiency and honesty in all business dealings with high ethics and morals. Being a secured site (SSL will appear in your browser when entering credit card details), will give you the customer total confidence that your business transactions will be kept confidential. We do not solicit business and never give out any of our customers details, nor do we sell or release our mailing list.

COMMISSIONED ORDERS
Orders can be made via email, phone/fax. Our terms and policies are set out below.

DELIVERY - POSTAGE

We use Australia Post for our deliveries unless otherwise specified. All bears are sent insured and registered at the buyers costings, unless you are a member, where you receive discounts on the overall cost of bear and postage. We do not send items out uninsured. Where there is a small difference in costing to send Express mail, i will pay that difference as we then can track your item on line until it safely arrives to you.

Once postage costings have been obtained and given to the buyer, verification of payment for ‘one of a kind bears’ or limited editions directly from our website is obtained, the bear is carefully packed and sent within 2 working days from our studios, confirmation email is also sent to the buyer of when the bear was posted. 

QUALITY CONTROL

Oz Matilda Bear Co., only use the highest quality of fabrics or materials. We try to use natural fabrics where possible. Bears are stuffed with Non Allergenic Australian Ginned Cotton. Plastic pellets are placed in some of the bears bellies for added weight.  We do not use nylons/polyester or any inferior fabrics on Oz Matilda Bears. Any Accessories added, you can be assured they are of the highest quality.

DEPOSITS FOR COMMISSIONED ORDERS
Specialised commission pieces ordered must be secured with a non refundable 30% of the retail costing price as a deposit to Oz Matilda Bear Co., to secure that particular commission which willl be made in a reasonable agreeable time, generally within 3 months, Members receive Priority first. (If you cancel the order, you forfeit your deposit monies to Oz Matilda Bear Co.) The Company will inform you when your bear is coming up to be made, once finished Oz Matilda will again contact you with photographs and approval to finalise transaction along with Postage/insurance costings. If payment is not met, the bear will automatically be placed to the next waiting collector in line.

I will do private commissions if I have total freedom - no restrictions.

LAYAWAY PLAN

Non Private Members: Layaway plan we currently offer is: Pay 1/2 costings first payment, remainder due 30 days from the initial payment date, if you change your mind during this period, we don't offer refunds, but will exchange for another item if that item is not already on layaway by someone else.  

Members layaway is for a period of 2 months in 1/4 installments. 

Ebay Auctions

Payment is due within 5 days of auction close. We do not offer Layaway for Ebay auctions, however, if you would like this service, please contact prior to bidding and we can discuss.  

PAYMENTS

Australian Collectors: We accept Money order, direct deposit into our banking account or credit card of bankcard, Visa and Mastercard which is done manually on an eftpos machine linked directly to our merchant banking facility.

International Customers have the option of payment by credit card through Paypal.  If using an e-cheque via PAYPAL, please let us know of the clearance date. Visa or Mastercard can be used via our secured url link. Transactions are done off line on an eftpos machine which is directly linked to our Banking Facility. No personal information is ever kept in our computer system.  Sorry, we can not accept International Cheques.
