Oz Matilda have been an active supporter for FREE THE BEARS since the early 1990's. Donating numerous works to help raise monies for this non profitable Charity Fund, founded by Mary Hutton. Helping to build sanctuaries in Asia for the Bears to finally rome FREE. We have also personally sponsored 3 bears and been a major contributing factor organizing Huge Celebrity/Artist event auctions.
FEBRUARY, 28TH, 2009, Free the Bear Fund organised a Charity Corportate Auction, held in Perth, March, 2009. Mary Hutton, the founder of Free The Bears was only asking for one Bear ARtist in Australia this time for a very special piece. Hence, a 26" oil framed portrait painting by Lisa Rosenbaum and a 20" Mohair bear with another oil painting within it's tummy were auctioned off by ROVE MCMANUS (Australian talk show host and also a recent member to Free The Bears).

The Dinner, hosted by Rove McManus, will be held in the elegant waterfront surrounds of the BelleVue Ballroom at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre.
Up to 800 guests are invited to enjoy a lavish three-course gourmet meal and beverages including top shelf wine, beer and sparkling wine.
$200 per head. Get out your cheque books and bid heavily to help Free The Bears. All monies raised go directly to helping the Bears.
